Re: VFO mode on UBC72XLT
From memory I don't believe the 73/92/93XLT's have that. You need to program a channel. Just leave say channels 91-99 blank and its only a couple of buttons to "program" them. Then for the next frequency you can even leave it in program mode and just enter something else.

Old hat now I'd say. Not many people around here these days, popular in thing is Discord. Maybe setup a channel there and see if anyone wants to join.

If the chip spec's don't support it, I wouldn't and don't expect it to go that low.

Re: 6AR Interference
Whoever it is needs to be hunted down. Very easy to do with the right equipment as they keep transmitting for long periods of time. You can hear a TV/radio or some kind of audio book type thing in the background. To my untrained ear, its malicious. You can't be accidentally pressing PTT for hours on...

I haven't heard of them using conventional analogue for a while. ACMA only lists a few simplex frequency's. I dear say they use something we can't access.

Re: Unable to hear Transperth Command anymore?
There are a stack of frequency's for different areas for the same feed. Refer to the posts in here somewhere mainly viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4739
