Quick question: When a crew turns out a DBA it only seems to be for example perth 1st perth 2nd but if its a 000 call (structure fire) they send more. Just wondering any reason behind it ? Sorry AVBFS but that is not correct. Single Cylinder BD96 sets use a single 6.8l composite cylinder and when twinned carry twin 6.8l composite cylinders. The cylinders dont change at all.

For a Station to become a long duration BA station its pump has to be equipped with t - pieces which allow the BA set to carry two cylinders. Years ago it was only stations with shipping ports in there area or confined space stations now all career stations are long duration stations and carry t - p...

50k-70k new for a good one 25k - 40k for a good second hand one . Cab and trailer would be pushing 170k. For that model anyway.
But turbo probaly wasnt a station officer which gave that estimate as i think it was a BFS job maybe it came from there cheif or captain etc.
