Hi Celestial insight, Yes areial appliances, CLP (combined ladder platform). It's all the same stuff to me mate. Hi Munchkin and Aunties Eyes, yes the Bell 412 is helo Rescue 65 (Bell is the company that makes the helo, 4 = 4 blades, 12 = 12 intended passesngers incl pilot(s)). G'day Jonesy, - 6IP and 6AR are part of the land base licenced callsigns. The full licenced callsigns are VL6IP and VL6AR - VL = Australia region, 6 = WA the state, AR & IP = licenced agencies i.e. Fire & Rescue Service and Bushfire Service. - Ambos use 6DS and the same pricipals VL6DS... - ...

I hear you mate. Confined Space rescue has changed too over the last few years on the training side and how it's focussed on spinal immobilisation too. Particularly when it comes to heavy industry, mining and oil & gas industries.

I can't answer that question. Mandurah 1st was working on the vehclie I was at and had my axx hanging out. And Pinjarra was working on another vehilce from a seperate incident 400 metres down the road. And it was raining, bugger of a night..
