Polair 62 just flew over my house heading north up the coast, it's a fair bit quieter than the thumping Polair 61.

Steve, the trial is over and the new high vis vehicles will phase in on a limited roll out. The Gov't has helped fund the purchase of I believe about 40 vehicles which will have the number plate recognition system on board. Mainly for traffic/hwp duties in metro and state traffic districts. They need to flood media and get it into the community like they do in Victoria. They leave you in no dought there, even sirens on the TV! Yep RAAF have been involved, they've been flying over my house heading out to the ocean and back daily lately, some in pairs and then in 4's.

Think Radio Lollipop is the hospital based radio station at PMH for the kids to listen to while in their beds on the wards and some treatment areas, they can even get involved in the broadcasting.

My sisters farmhouse near Beverley on the Beverley Mawson Road is still without power since the storm, damage has been cleaned up, tarp on the roof, insurance assessors have been but still no power.

Try the local towing companies and the one that has the contract with WAPOL, if there was a crash they would've attended.

Actually these intersections statistically have a bad history of accidents, thats why they have put them in =D> =D>
The bit i like about the new cameras is that even if you're on a green light, if you speed through the intersection you get your photo taken. cheeky buggers

Also interesting when 4 of them flew over together only the last black hawk had there nav lights on.
Probably a defensive measure, then again Polair does it often also.
