Re: Antenna and Magnetic Base to suit Vertex Handheld
Any places in Perth? It is VHF High Band Try Prestige Communications in Malaga if you're north of the river. You should be able to get a magnetic base from them which will probably have a PL259 plug on the end. An adapter to SMA will sort that side of it out and then a simple 5/16" threaded an...

Can anyone recommend a good magnetic base and antenna to suit the Waern frequencies. Thanks Hi Yogi, Just trying to u...

Re: Streaming DFES scanner audio
I haven't heard 6IP/6AR split since WAERN has come in. From a briefing I went to a few weeks ago there's a pretty good chance that on days where the network is under a lot of stress or load, they'll consider splitting 6AR and 6IP. We've been warned that it's happening and given maps to show which r...

Hi William,
Welcome to WARSUG!
Just to make sure you know, the "WA" here refers to Western Australia, not Washington.
I assume if you get any takers that you're willing to post to the other side of the world, and that the prices you've mentioned are in US dollars?
Cheers,
