Hi all, as I'm sure you've seen the news, there's a "blitz" happening in Northbridge with an extra 200 officers patrolling the area to crack down on anti-social behaviour. I've noticed they have the command truck out there for coordination. Is this using the same set of frequencies and tal...

Re: Mandurah Rail Closure - Stream Request 26/12/21 - 14/1/22
If someone can help me with setting a stream up, I'm happy to stream the Mandurah region traffic. They use 3 frequencies (apparently trunking but it doesn't seem like it). I have 2 SDR's and a Pi that I'm happy to use for the cause. I'll be back in Mandurah on the 4th.

Wonder why they're using LTE instead of the upcoming ESRN, just seems very odd.

Re: DFES digital
Reading the rollout schedule on VH, it doesn't look like there's going be any change for DFES for at least 5 years at this stage.

You won't need something as fancy as that to scan the WAERN at this stage. Not until the ESRN is up and running.

Re: FESA frequencies
DFES have introduced codified callsigns for some operational staff in the Southwest and Metro North East regions. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to disclose who has which callsign though unfortunately.

Re: WA Police Service Frequencies and Callsigns
I'm trunk tracking the Mandurah VKI repeater and I've noticed a lot of the radios calling have IDs that begin with 2109, which means their callsign begins with UI (Uniform India). I've never heard or seen that callsign before, and there's been a lot of units with that 2109xxx ID come up, anyone know...
