Re: Icom IC-R6 antenna for DFES

Handhelds are often poor in receiving if you are far away from the transmitter. A more suitable antenna may help you, however if you are barely getting anything, it still might not be good enough unfortunately.

Put Pinjarra 217 in as well in case you are in better line of sight with that.

Re: News videos in here (YouTube™)

Unfortunately not. Over the years, they started getting taken down due to copyright. Back in the days before our current social media and news website video hosting, recording them was a thing. Not so much anymore.

Re: FESA frequencies

You'll need to put more than a couple of frequencies, places that are listed on the documents may not always match where they actually are. For an area of unknown channel allocations, I'd literally stick all 500 odd frequencies in and hit scan! I've got a freescan file (or I can output to a csv docu...

Re: FESA frequencies

And do you mind linking to the radio reference place you got the info from? The scanner won't need to know location, just frequency.

Re: Uniden usds100

Usually you'd just use Freescan, however I see it's not compatible with that model. This site does mention an alternate version though https://wiki.radioreference.com/index.p ... User_Guide

You can import a CSV into that I believe.

Re: Transperth train driver who ran red signal and went wrong way tested for alcohol and drug use

Without going into detail, there are a lot of "facts" incorrect in the article, so read with about 50 pinches of salt  The main take away from it which is one of the few truths, "...the track has protective mechanisms to prevent train collisions and said passengers were never i...
