Re: IIS nasa crew freqency

The ISS will be going over our heads in ten minutes as I type, packet was received by ma two nights ago on
145.825.00 with many calls logged.

I use Orbitron to track the station, it's free on the net, and MixW to decode the signal.

I'll monitor the frequency and let you know - using a FRG7 and a long wire, is there any time I should be listening ?

Hello SOL, it's very possible that you may have heard slow scan tv, get yourself a copy of MMSSTV and see if you can decode the signal - by the way you din't happen to record what you heard ? In the past I have decoded many SSTV signals on 27.555 and other frequencies in the same area. John/Eaton

St Johns in Bunbury

It has taken some time but I have found the freq as used in and around the Bunbury area, monitor 78.650 for activity - as I found it's not the most busy to listen to but "COUNTRY MOBILE" is heard as well as Australind, Bunbury and others.

Hello Kombi,
I'm a regular tracker of the ISS and other sats, using WxTrack in conjunction with Heavensat, the packet is quiet at the moment and the possibility of SSTV is fantastic.
