the reason they changed it from traffic accidents to traffic crashes was a legal one. A person was charged, I think it was somewhere in England, with failing to stop after an accident, etc etc. When he attended court he beat the charge by saying it was no accidentbut it was delibarete(hic).

Few spotted in the Metro area today: TE452-Nissan Patrol with 'Traffic Escort' down the side, but the word Police doesn't appear. Yes there is Ludi, they used to be based in my office until about a month ago. They are now in East Perth Traffic Section and are mainly public servants (tis tis). If you mean that Police Officers no longer do escorts then I aggree. the majority of them are retirees yes there still are sworn office...

the heros do have radios in their vehicles and the police escort section have the same radios in the car so they can access the SCAT system.

We quite regulary(?) here rescue 65 talking to 6DS. if they are going to say a traffic accident in the Northam district, you will here them talking with the Northam firies, on 78.125, discussing the landing areas that are suitable.
