Are the people who call into crime stoppers law breakers?...I think not. They are members of the public offering information to help catch criminals.

Corporate sponsorship is great for the community, but I believe that it shouldn't be used to as a tool to quell anti-social behavior. That is why the government gives the police laws to enforce. I thought the Police were supposed to have an neutral relationships with all members of the community including large corporate companies like Coles and Allens (Minty Mob). I agree with you Tom on the subject of pursuit. Can you imagine what it be like if you didn't chase.

Read in the paper a few weeks back that they were calling for applicants for VKI. The add said there were 17 civillian spots up for grabs.

I agree that you should not quote individual Police Officers names, as that is putting them at risk, however I don't see a problem mentioning vehicles involved as it is merely representing a particular police station. Watching the nightly news, shows events happening via visual means... we are doing...
