As far as i know and from what i have read in the Road Traffic Act that the only cars that have any priority are those with the RED AND BLUE LIGHTS, in saying this i dont see any blue on Western Power Vehicles......all other vehicle Must obey the current road traffic laws. 281. Some Transit Guards are Special Constable and this means they come within the definition of a Police Officer when driving vehicles. Be interested to know where it says that in the Road Traffic Code? I would of thought that if it was clearly distinguishable as a 'recognized' Emergency vehicle than that would be sufficent. Some unmarked cars just have a stick on blue light on the roof.
