Have you taken an inaugural customer for a ride in the pod yet? sure have... they actually commented on how nice it was with the aircon cranked in the back as it was about 34c outside haha.... :lol: Another satisfied customer! I think some of you guys are missing the point, this isn't a problem caused by the radios lack of features, colouring etc It's primarily a problem caused by lack of experience of working inter-agency, a lack of appreciation of how the other team works. It should have been picked up in the briefing....

agreed, and particulary with drivers on boarder line confidence/skill/experience this increased pressure to constantly check their speed detracts from watching other road users, just my opinion though

the old blue steel boots have a habit of melting rather easily, the soles of mine did that, 2m from a camp fire :?

well im safe on the airbag side of things :lol: another thing before i suss this out, i will be getting a pair of spotties, and fitting hid kits into them. The antenna is only about a foot away from the ballast, will this have any effect on the UHF, and if so, is there anyway to avoid this? mounting...

havent had a chance to play with the antenna, however looking through the manual for the cd player, protect mode occurs when a speaker wire has a short or touches the chassis of the vehicle, im unsure how that could happen when talking on the 2way :? and only for periods of 6secs or more :?

thanks, i will check the connection at the back of the radio first as it is a tight fit behind the console
