I think that would be bumming.... a lift that is.
I may be able to swing out that way, as you find out, by all means let me know and I could probly pick up and drop off, the scenic drive will be grand.

The Sunday session if we can book in for $56 for the two sessions will be fine.
My weekly budget cringed a bit at $75, so I am go for the 2x 20 lappers for $56.

Count me in then. I will be the guy wearing a SACFS shirt probably, so you all know who I am. I am happy to arrive and drive or book a session, just let me know how much and who to catch up with and pay etc....

The story of a scania sucking in embers and catching alight in the engine is a genuine one. I dont know about over here, but about 5 years ago, a new scania in service with the Metro Fire Service in SA had some embers into the air cleaner and had to carted off on a tilt tray truck. Hi All, Its been a while since I logged on, so my apologies for being late on the uptake. The Ambulance was built by Paull and Warner. They also build a smaller version for a Hilux cab-chassis. I think they also built the patrol LT seen in town a few weeks ago. Very likely an industrial site. Cheers...

The Nissan belongs to a private company and will be heading to a mine site soon.
The staff have been using it as a fleet spare to run a few errands for a few days while other cars are off line and being serviced...

Thanks Meg The nScanner I have is a desktop Uniden UBC780XLT. It is great for analogue Trunked radio, as Country Fire Service, SES etc use back home. Do the locals here run that style of network, or is it more a UHF repeater style etc? I will have to go through my instruction book to see how to prog...
