from memory they can go "local" which is a different channel.
please correct me if im wrong it has been a few years since i had much to do with police freqs, that was before they went digital and encrypted and i was in perth

Other than Bunbury and surrounding suburbs, what other towns are covered by this channel? Also, has anybody heard anything in the last hour and a half? Have heard Bunbury base call up once and thats it so wondering if its just my crappy computer or just a quiet night??? has been a quiet night here ...

i think what helitak_670 is referring to is the structual fire fighting course where that is the only hot stuff you do.

just wondering if any of you VFRS members have done this course?
If so what did you think of it?

Not from what I have heard.

FRS took 18 months to get their payrise. hope it doesnt take that long for wapol to get theirs.

i was at the station today and had a look and yes it is an old ACCO MPHR59 for bunbury CFRS. all the times that i have been at the station i never really took any notice if it was MPHR or not.

MPHR Locations

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me the closest MPHR to Bunbury?

Im doing the Road Crash Rescue course in a couple of weeks and was just wondering.
Would not not to need one but if the need arrises would be good to know.

We had the same situation here the other week when we had that scrub fire started by faulty transformers. had pole top fires and just let them burn till we had the all clear from WP that power was off. the situation was that the 240V and 415V was off but the 60KV and above was still on, so couldnt d...
