if it aint no good the dc 10 that is,why did the vic goverment bring it out here,the state is a lot smaller than wa and much more heavily populated than wa,my opinion just a point scoring exercise when it stuffed up the firefight last year,just a knee jerk reaction to keep the people in victoria hap...

we will never know fastlane but we have this piece of equipment in australia why not use it if its appropiate,theres no cost to life ,thank god that hasnt happened over here for a while and if we can save peoples property and lively hood lets try our best, why have a dc 10 in australia if we cannot ...

yes fastlane what happend in victoria on black saturday with all the so called experts running the show,true im not one of them but i have fought my share of major fires over the years in victoria and sydney including ash wednesday,like i said my its just my opinion and i reckon we are all intitled ...

its all politically motivated,the government in victoria just wanted to be seen to be doing something after the devestating bushfires in 2009,remember the freak fire conditions that day, they only happen every 10 years or so, its just a big grey ghost sitting there doing nothing waiting for the next...

havent heard anymore about this walyunga deffinately called a smoke sighting into mundaring office gave them some co-ordinates and said its building rapidally is it in calms area? the frequancey i heard it on was as clear as day 163.387 but still havent heard anymore,hopefully its just small

sorry robbage just taking the micky out of the situation,the last line is me being stupid its just that it took so long to post anything about the fire,but yet they can post fire alerts about 2.5hectare fire a lot quicker

geez only took fesa approx 8hrs to update fire at lancelin,even though it was cranking along at 5/10km per hour that sounds big enough to me, good work guys in keeping people updated even though you say their is no threat to life or property people are still curious to know what is going on especial...

chidlow and rolystone have just been turned out to attend to lancelin fire, nice long drive ahead for those bridgades,be nice if fesa had something about this fire on their web page

maybe it was last sundays fire at the back of the cattle yards near hazlemere bushmead x stirling not that far from where you are talking about burnt pasture can have a smell for quite a while didnt hear nothing on scanner friday when i was listening but that dont mean much
