Re: Other incidents/minor fires etc - 2014/2015
Yes it was O'Connor, who were stationed at Canning Vale I think. I guess they may have been a spare appliance manned by a relief crew? As stated above resources were all over the place and stretched very thin that night. I believe Rockingham 1st was at Welshpool.

Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
Response units: N - District North C - District Central S - District South New/repurposed response centres implemented. Apparently response units are separate from the stations now. Some stations have new call signs to accommodate. Interesting- thanks for this post. Does this mean JCXXX is not a Ca...

Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
So will stations have their own cars anymore? Will we be able to tell from their callsigns, ie JK, JC, GC etc?

Re: General fire discussions
Just heard Canning Vale turn out to a DBA in their district with Duncraig as backup? Is there some big incident going on that has occupied every station closer than Duncraig? Any other reason why this would be the case?

Re: Vehicle callsign spreadsheet
Saw an unmarked Ford BF Wagon today. Surprised to see they were still in use given the fact it would have been at least 6 years old?

Re: What happened to this forum...
We have niche area's like the DFES area where summer fire threats can be talked about real time. I don't expect the site to die, I expect it to be a history of times past, and still a relevant source of information for other frequencies/companies. The analogue days of the Police subforum and more a...

Police gone digital.
Social media just as fast for finding out details of incidents before the mainstream media reports it.
With less people posting, less people are inclined to post running commentary of incidents as they likely feel very few people are reading.

Re: WA Govt announces $20.3 million for new Perth fire stati
So will this be a separate station with separate crews from the existing Perth station? Or will one or more of the Perth appliances be relocated?

Interesting, so if he is found to have had nothing to do with starting the fires, he won't be charged with anything?

Re: General fire discussions
