Re: Emergency Service - Western Power

Hi all, I have seen/ followed one of these Western Power vehicles under priority driving conditions, including darting in and out of traffic and through red traffic lights. It was responding to a building fire in North Perth a couple of years ago where the firies needed the power to the building cut...

Re: Transperth Transit Officers / CSO Powers & Infrigements

It would depend on wether the CSO has been gazetted as an 'Authorised Officer/Person' under that Act. The only way to tell would be to find out their name and search the Government Gazette...

Re: Front page story in today's "West"

I think its pretty shameful really... Surely there are other government departments that could afford to maybe take a bigger cut so the Police wouldn't have to. I agree totally with Zebedee, if taking police cars off the road is not a reduction in front line services then what is? Its hard enought a...

Re: New TK car spotted in Kinross

Good spot nra555- I have 2 FGs at work and they aren't that low so I reckon they have lowered them... The FGs are a bit high for dogs on standard suspension- I've had a few faceplant it into the dirt when unloading at the pound...

That truck looks really nice but it is a total piece of garbage- someone told me that the whole thing needs to be re-wired!

Re: Ranger vehicles

Hi Caddy 1, Mate, being a Ranger I thought I'd explain a few things. I know people get a bit upset about Ranger driving around in Falcons and Ford Rangers and other big vehicles but the fact is there is a heap of gear that we need to carry around every day. In my vehicle I have dog poles, 2 metal c...

Re: Pepper (oc) spray Perth

G'day John, If you have a look in the Weapons Act you'll find that pepper spray is a controlled weapon. In short- you can have it but if you use it you'll need a dam good reason for doing so. I am not a lawyer or anything so this is just my interpretation of the legislation and if anyone else knows ...
