well appart from sending parcel bombs just the fact that they are looking up the address and sticking thier noise in other peoples bussiness but anyway, just couriouse, Appart from that ive heard that you can apply to have it so your calsign cant be looked up or you can get a PO BOX address. I'd imagine they pretty much do things the same as you folks in terms of slides of the info in the manual , practical calls using a radio in a group net and one...

Sheeesh !! So many things to remember and to top it all off i have to learn to use the radio whick looks like it belongs in the cockpit of a 747 jumbo. As fo remembering call signs etc . Hello again

Well today i bought a radio in preparation for hopefully getting my license.
Its' all very exciting , just like Xmas . Can't wait to key up ( unless stage fright gets me :oops: )
