My brother used to pit crew for a bloke who drove a speedway car. They used to keep a straw broom handy and if they suspected there was a fire they stuck that in first to see if it caught alight.

Saw what appeared to be 2 new HSR's out on Roe Hwy today. Looked like they may have been coming from the training centre. One was marked Corrigin and the other was Narrogin. Looked good but as I was driving was unable to get photos or a close look at the fleet number.

Nothing wrong with a toasted sandwich in the middle of the night. Better than nothing. And lets not forget that the salvoes that come out at all hours of the night are volunteers as well. The last thing they want to hear is a bunch of ungratful firefighters whinging about what food they are getting....

They would have been allowed through to the command post as they are used to transfer relief crews for the career FRS guys.

The reason they dont leave LTs behind is that for out stations who have them(Perth doesnt normally except maybe in summer)they quite often get redirected to another job before returning to station (especially in summer.). As for normal road and firecall to DBA's. As has been stated a lot of public b...

My point is FRS are as much a part of FESA as is the SES and BFS and everything else. Yet FRS always gets refered to as FESA while SES and BFS etc somehow maintain their identity. So no I wont get over it

Sorry to be picky but they are not FESA vehicles they are Fire and Rescue as it says on the door.
If your going to refer to them as FESA vehicles then also refer to SES, BFS etc as FESA as well because all are separate identidies managed by FESTA

Just after they were turned out Welshpool 2nd stated theirs was a standby and not in fact a MPHR so only one MPHR was there.
