The video from the platform cameras are transmitted to the driver and usually fades out just as the train pulls away from the train station. My mate who is a driver ...

Re: Public Transport Frequencies and Links

Repeaters appear to be operated by this mob: http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/client_sear...

With Path Transit they also talk about a 'Channel 3' which I can only assume is a simplex as well as only two repeater channels are listed for them?

If an emergency vehicle wishes to use the lane they must first radio path transit for permission and then they also clear the busses out Just out of curiosity, which bus lane(s) are you referring to? If it's the ones on the Kwinana freeway, Path Tr...

The rules have been changed, foundation operators can run 10 watts all modes. Cheers I must admit I will need to bone up on the regs if I am to get back on air again. I have been inactive since ~1997 and am aware the regs have undergone some changes in that time. Because I had a 2 letter full call ...

Re: RD contest
Anybody contesting in the RD tonight/tomorrow? Where will most of the FM action happen? I have no way to receive SSB. Pity I don't have any gear ATM. I would've had a go and given some points to serious contesters. I won the VHF Phone section in the 90's some time (can't remember the year) and it w...
