Third alarm scrub fire, Whiteman Park Wetlands. West Swan Road in Caversham, cross of Harper street.
May or may not be related to the Guildford one since they're about 2km apart as the crow flies.

Pretty sure that the SES Comms Support Unit's OKA.
CSU were there and had set up a repeater to give better coverage over the fireground. That area is notorious for poor radio comms.

The fire is burning in grass and scrubland along Great Northern Highway. Nearest cross street is Sounness Drive. Estimated time to control is 6pm today. From Guildford: Fire is classified as third alarm and is south of Helena Street, west of Hill St and east of Johnson street. Properties are no longer under threat. Nafenn is monitoring both 205 and 380 and can hear everything between the two of them. Sounds like the network's split somewhere coz it's the same operator on both channels and she's having a lot of trouble (more than usual at least) with people talking over the top of each other.
