The fact that DFES is being quite heavy handed in trying to control media doesn't help. The operational costs of RFDS are not fully covered by the State or Federal Governments. They rely heavily on fundraising which consists of direct donations, philanthropic assistance and merchandising.

There is a structure fire in Osborne Park on Sundercombe Street near the intersection of Hector Street.

People north and north west of Sundercombe Street in Osborne Park, including the southern parts of Innaloo and Stirling, may be impacted by smoke.

Fire and Rescue Service crews are at the scene.

Teams out all day today.
More teams going tomorrow.
