I have to wonder though, without getting into a large political debate... who is footing the bill for all these resources? The airport was effectively shutdown, her entourage to UWA shut down roads. Today, her trip to Mercedes shuts down the CBD... this is all money. Is Rice paying for this or are t...

That leaves us to focus on our main aim, which is radio scanning.

Re: How sensitive is VHF?

Or will I only hear something at exactly 78.1125, and nothing else will be picked up at all elsewhere? Some scanners need to be set for a different channel spacing when entering some frequencies, and some others just don't support 12.5KHz spaced channels properly. What model is your scanner? Uniden...

What excuses? name them. There is not one post where an excuse has been made nor have i deleted any post on this site unlike others who endeavoured to castigate and then run and hide. If what you write is true then its not a conspiracy. Conspiracies come from people who dont know what theyre talkin...

How sensitive is VHF?

My local 6AR repeater at work is 78.1125MHz, however my scanner only will allow 78.1100MHz or 78.1150MHz... I dont hear anything on either, however it may just be a quiet day? Is VHF like a car radio, where you will start hearing static at around 93.4-93.9 and proper tune at 93.7? Or will I only hea...

As a newbie reading back over the threads, reading the so called controversies with Secureforce, AMS, ALAS and whomever else targeted on this board... I feel the only appropriate gesture would be   Its somewhat discouraging to be reading this sort of thing on a forum for WA radio scanner...

Yep, its disgusting really.

Serpentine was faced with the same problem, however they donated 90% of their funds to needy subcentres around the state, and kept a small amount for themselves as a safeguard.

St John took over, however never bothered touching their remaining funds.

Good on them.

Re: Sub Centre

I volunteered at a sub centre that had all funds raised by the local community "seized" by "belmont" once a paramedic arrived as station manager and dissolved the committee. And all vollies were told not to discuss in the local community!! Sounds like Pinjarra  They are ho...
