I can confirm Karratha is not digital yet. not until next year. I know this because they are going to be using my works Comms Site and we are only now having meeting about the setup/ equipment on the tower etc. They have 3 Frequencies (and repeaters all located at the Woodside KGP Mt Wongama Comms s...

Last week the Karratha station had a representative come and show a slide show/ demo the equipment which from what iv heard seemed to be not that helpful. Tonight im going to help out "demo" actual operation for them. the stuff they will use etc. let people push buttons for them selves in ...

when they rolled out the digital system in Perth for some time they ran both systems while everyone was cut over. so the base/vki was transmitting on both systems at the same time but if the vehicle was digital ready then the car would only respond back on the digital system. exactly what you're hea...

several country locations are being done/ just been completed (installation of repeater equipment that is) Kalgoorlie (im not exactly sure what area of coverage/ how many sites around the town/s are getting it but i do know that a few weeks back the installation was underway.
