Well Stew just to get you up with the times, this is actually a radio scanning forum. There was lots of carry on which resulted in the admins locking a similar thread and this one is heading the same way. If you are interested in whinging about ambulance services, there are threads and even forums ...

Do students have to pay HECS fees to become a Paramedic? I think it is silly that they dont pay students from day one, how is someone with kids and a morgage going to stop working to study for 12 months? Look at it for their side - Lets say they paid you a paramedics salary or whathaveyou to attend...
