Hi, I'm looking at an entry level tranciever and at hoping to get something like a Yaesu FT450, FT897D or a IC718. So I'm after getting as much coverage as I can, with upto 100w. HF/UHF/VHF etc. For the right tranceiver I will put $$ in to make up any difference. What tranceiver do you have??? Glend...

Info please - can anyone help - I need a repair done on my FRG 8800 and I believe there is a guy in Guilford who is very good. Anyone know him??? I just need a phone number - if possible.

computer assisted receivers/tranceivers

Can any one help! I would like some feed back on Winradio or ICOM type computer assisted receivers/ tranceivers. They are priced in the $1,500:00 to $2,000 bracket.

I also have an old CB radio call sign, are these call signs still being used and can I still use it?
