Whats Happend To WAIX;8000
I was listening to this through my computer for a few weeks but now it seems to be unavailable to listen to anymore. I have been through all listings on icecast streaming media site and it's not on there anymore. Can anyone list the reason/s why we cannot use this through windows media player anyone...

I been listening to this on windows media player through the net but the police aren't being heard on there now...Only CSA on the trains which is boring as bat poo.

Any ideas how long before the country police change over from analogue then?
And once the police go digital and they encrypt their systems how do we listen to them then??

Guess I'll be looking at a few big dollars then....A digital scanner is around the $700 to $800 dollar mark aren't they? Country police will be analogue for the time being, and a digital scanner won't receive the encrypted metro comms anyway, so the expense of a digital scanner isn't necessary. Oh ...
