Todays paper said the driver that hit the cop did pull over to help out. It was an accident.

Channel 34 - Party out of control in Mosman Park. vehicles from all over the place attanding. The 'mobile 'lockup' has been mobilised. (sounds like this very rarely happens). been going or at least 20 min already.

I've just heard on Ch12. Mounted Section is pulling out, and it sounds like the kid has been found.

Would this have anything to do with how unusually quiet it's been on the radio tonight?

I've taken your advice and run an outside antenna. Picks up heaps more now. As for Ch2, its perfect reception using the outside antenna. The telescopic does not get anything at all on Ch2

Thanks Turbo. Yeah Ch8 is coming through nicely. Also getting Ch12 clearly.
I'll see if physically changing location is any better. That may help rule out any problem with the scanner.
