Re: W.A Fire Appliances
If there's a constant run of water from under the appliance it means that the tank is full and is overflowing.... either the pump output isn't keeping up with the in-flowing water or it's not engaged. Hope that helps. Thats right if you are filling up, using the hydrant inlet or switching over from...

Re: General fire discussions
Midland and Ossie park CFRS were definitley there as well. Why would they send Rockingham 3rd lt all the way to Northman when there are 4 or 5 VFRS brigades much closer who didn't get a guernsey. Strange hey

Re: Metro FRS Stations
So Tyrannus does that mean Darlington has Vehicle rescue and structural capabilities and equipment and also do they wear the same uniform and PPE like other CFRS and VFRS brigades? If not can you really call your self VFRS because your website states that you are a Bushfire brigade and that you come...

This the case through out the metro area. where ever you see a pump there will 4 guys attached to it. Other appliances...

Re: General fire discussions
The fact remains that there seems to be alot of hostility and jealousy directed at the 'proffessionals' than what is directed towards the Vollies. The (some-not all) vollies seem to love having a bit power and enjoy having a dig at the paid guys. Back stab them as you will first, but how many vollie...

Re: General fire discussions
You'll just have to believe me, or not believe me, I don't care. I have contacts who are perms but hey take it or leave it, but the repositioning of LT's is a rather new concept and as you said they were usually left in Perth but now they are moved. Whats wrong you believe that in 8 years your ment ...
