It was on atkins rd in mundaring. we couldnt locate the fire for over 2 hours as we were turned out to asher rd x mundaring wier rd. we could see it but not get to it. By the time we got there dec had just finished putting in fire breaks

Kalamunda, Belmont ICV, Bassendean, Midland, Darlington LT2 all turned out to fire at ZigZag, East Gidge 7.2 was also turning out but stood down. Windy as anything up here too. i did the initial turn out 11 pm to 6 am and then third crew between 12 pm and 6 pm. .... the fire was largely inaccessible due to terrain restrictions and that DEC decided to burn quite a few pockets of ground after we busted a gut trying to stop it burning. and luckily there wasnt too much in the ...
