I can see the smoke from the city - not huge...yet... So i take it what your saying is Midland lied to us :D LOL - no! It looks pretty big, but I have spotted bigger ones from here at work. Let's hope this doesn't turn into one of them :-) I would definitely take the word of a firie who's eyeballed...

Lots of stories, but what happens in the pump stays in the pump, MP 41 was a good pump too before it was replaced

How much bar pressure? sure would need atleast 15---- Pressure required all comes down to the pressure needed at the top of the platform. Pressure is lost for every 1m rise that water is pumped and for each length of hose it needs to go through. I think it is a pressure loss of 0.1 bar for every me...

I'm assuming there are multiple SETs?
One at Murdoch and other at Osbourne Park.

After it got stood down from the gas tank rollover it was redirected to something I didn't catch up Joondalup way so you probably spotted it coming back from its way to Bullsbrook

BACU was an Acco that was based in Perth and was mobilised to near every house fire (last 90's at least). The old SET was the HAZMAT truck based at Welshpool until the BACU got decommissioned and HAZMAT was changed to SET to cover both roles and moved to Perth. Once the two new SET's were build they...
