Re: "Hot List"
...by the way it's driving, damage to the vehicle, the people on board, the demographic of the area the vehicle is in, etc, etc.... not just one factor on it's own, but a combination of theses and other factors would be an INDICATION. Well that is a very loose definition and perhaps may result in a...

Re: "Hot List"
I think it would be a good idea to have a list of the stolen cars. The public always seems happy to help and it's not hard to keep your eyes and ears open if you are suspicious of your neighbours or something. well its not really a viable option. What would they do post a big list on their website,...

So I am looking for a new (Second hand) scanner that is able to get these frequencies. I am willing to trade my unit which...

Re: Calling "URGENT"
VX101etc "Urgent",, usually means they are in a pursuit and request radio priority.
Or they need urgent backup
those are the only 2 times I have heard it used in that manner.

Re: City Of Swan's new Incident Control Vehicle
I would assume even though some brigades in the country are volunteer, and perhaps are not as busy as career/metro stations that they too would need reliable / new equipment and not hand me down rubbish. Some of these areas don't have anything else for protection so I assume they would be maintained...

Re: Firefighters targeted in `despicable' act
I did not quite understand this, granted I have just come off a night shift. How did they do it? did they place it in the ground? or did people actually ram it into the car? The driver was very lucky it just missed him. It is absolutely shocking. I really wonder about the mentality of people in this...

Re: Transperth Security and Transit Officers
Thankyou for the reply. I will have a look at them next time I am at the station. It surely is confusing. So if I need some help, because someone is harassing me, will they do anything? would they even call the real transit police/officers.

Re: Transperth Security and Transit Officers
Can I ask a innocent question and it is innocent. My question is why is there a huge amount of Indian, Pakistani & Sri Lankan transit officers?. I have 2 at a station I regularly frequent (they are the ones that sit at the station the whole time) and all they do is stand around laughing and joki...
