Yep, that's the sound - I might need to confirm by actually going an cooking some :-)

Just that I don't recall hearing it on your feed previously.

Merry Christmas.

Re: Streaming DFES scanner audio

Hi Gavin,
I'm hearing a lot of static on your "Perth Fire and Rescue Service - Command" Broadcastify feed this morning. Voice comms are clear above it, so perhaps squelch? Not that I want to tell you about scanners or radios ....

Colin.

Re: Multiple streams from one SDR

For my SDR that is providing my feeds, I am using a scanner aerial purchased from Mobile 1 some 10 years ago. I had to re-locate it earlier this year, and noticed that it is in pretty poor condition. I am using an MCX to BNC pigtail and a 150mm USB extension lead to ensure minimum pressure on the US...

Re: Multiple streams from one SDR

There is another free product that I use to "auto-play" the radio. AutoHotkey. I use this to start SDRConsole from the windows startup folder, rather than putting SDRConsle directly into the startup folder. Then at the right time I press the "Play" button. WooHoo. Fully automated Stream, even if the...

Choice of aerial - SCATXHI

Hi all, So I'm looking at getting an aerial for my car scanner. I'm mainly interested in DFES, so something that covers the 160MHz range is important. As 160 is my main interest, I was advised that I could get a VHF high band antenna and trim it correctly. Mobileone have the SCATXHI http://www.mobil...
