Re: Christmas Island AFP, Christmas Island Police & Ambulanc

Definitely run by SJA Vollies. The Hospital is run by Indian Ocean Territories Health Service IOTHS. The Hospital is home to this (the rapid response unit) & a far larger bodied Intensive Care Unit.

Re: Can anyone identify this Tassie Vehicle ???

With the name change to CUSTOMS "& Border Protection" the vehicle markings were put on hold until some uniformity was created. Now all operational vehicles are white, as opposed to the previous blue & will soon be sign written the same as vehicles on mainland Australia. This applie...

TAS vehicle - unidentified

G'day all,

was in Tassie on holidays last month and saw a white Nissan X-Trail, no signage but fitted with Red & Blue LED lightbar.

I have a photo and I will post soon.

Any ideas what it may be ?

Cheers,

DK

Mickey Mouse Lights

I remember these when i first moved to WA in '98

They were hilarious! they would have to be the dullest lights ever used. The huge rotator in the centre performed about 3 revolutions a minute whilst the outside blue 'Mouse ears' flashed like an ageing candle!!!
