The service would run well alot smoother under government control and even at best leave country centres run by sja and cut the funding to suit.

What makes anyone think things would work better under government control! Has anyone looked at our hospital system lately....

During the recent ...

It appears that once again The Saint is being blamed for problems in our health system.

When a patient is transfered from a secondary hospital, such as Swan District, Peel Health Campus, etc, the ambulance transport is paid for by the hospital that transfers the patient. Part of the reasoning for ...

Great photos Tom.
I noticed that in the header you have listed SJA, and I assume you are referring to the ambulance on Rotto. That ambulance is operated by the Rottnest Island Nursing Post, which is operated by Fremantle Hospital - check out the Freo Hospital logo on the rear side window!

prob have seen ya.besides my photography I hold a Gold CAMS Fire Rescue Licence and a Silver CAMS Paramedic Licence

nice one. Do CAMS run special courses or something like that?

Back when I was naive enough to think that you needed a CAMS 'paramedic' license to do events at the track, the ...

Out at Wanneroo Raceway covering the road bikes, when one of the riders highsided off his bike. As he was still in mid-air another ride passed him on the outside, and his handlebars caught the back of the first riders ...

Wanneroo Division does not exsiste now HQ closed it down and reopended it in Joondalup.

Sorry to disappoint you Rescue10, but Wanneroo Division does still exist, it just happens to operate out of Joondalup Depot/Training Centre.

At least now everything is one place, instead of training at the ...

I agree it is overkill, and it looks a bit stupid....

I am sure I have some photos from Alice Springs (2004) hidden somewhere on a hard drive!

They had a variety of Sprinters, GMC's and Landcruiser Troopies.

St John operates the main Ambulance Service in the NT, but there are also some 'other' ambulances based in smaller communities that are operated ...

We have plenty more Tom - This one is based at Morley - and from memory - the Sprinters are replacing our aging Ford Transits and a few of our econovans.... - So I think in total so far - we have 6 - I think... And will be getting a few more I beleive.

The Kilometers are not bad actually ...

Sweet pic's Tom.

Gee First Aid Services must be cashed up if they can afford to have a highly useful Landcruiser in there fleet  maybe for tow the caravans perhaps :?:

The Landcruiser with the 4.2TD engine was the 'cheapest' vehicle we could get that had a sufficient tow rating for the ...

It was actually a desktop exercise at PMH, that ran for about 2-3 hours. Nothing exciting - just really bad radio technique!
