I dual boot my MacBook Pro to run logging software. One annoying problem is the clock jumps back 8 hours under Windoze I forgot to correct this when I was mobile this arvo
and had to go back and correct the times.

I don't know why ACMA bothers with UHF CB.
I had a listen for the 1st time in many years last night to a local chook band repeater.
It consisted of a know it all spruiking technical miss information and want to be DJ's.

I just heard the Busselton repeater ID @ S 5.


Same here with D-star waiting for the rigs to be manufactured at a greater volume so the unit price can (should) come down.

I had a QSO on 147.000.
I did mange to triger Greenough or is it Northhampton on 146.825.

My next toy will be an Icom D-Star rig.

The southwest is fine the radius is about 200ks from the Perth GPO.


EDIT: It is 250ks from the GPO in Forest Place.

420-430mhz is still an amateur frequency. Parts of it can't be used around some capital cities and most of NSW.
