Any scanner compatible with tier 3 trunking will work. I'm using a usds100 and I'm getting clear traffic. An SDR works too with dsd+

Fyi the main con+ system with city of Perth, Stirling, city watch, Wilson's etc has all moved to a tier3 system. I'm picking up most of these TGIDs plus a few more from the scarbs site and the Martin site.

I'm compiling a list of CSE Tgids, anyone got the tgids identified? Currently have a few like security, bussport control, Freo base, rocky base etc.

Swissy and what not will have radios but will be very short range ground to ground. from memory albany airport is a little trek away. used to live in ...

nothing that i can see but try these cse freqs in the area, id search turned on.

Vertical NXDN has 4 trunking sites around Perth.Neerabup,Perth,Byford,Navel Base.I have City of subiaco,St johns patient transfer vehicles,Skip bin companys and maybe Toll transport.

Quite a shame that 80% of this information is now incorrect... doesn't give much hope for anyone new looking to get into scanning (despite the lack of)

Range doesn't bother me too much, it'll work better then the uhf antenna i have hooked up currently.
