Anyone is allowed to own a scanner, you legally cannot act on the information that you hear.

It all depends are you just wanting to listen too, is it just dfes? what area on Grt Sthrn are you in? can pickup scanners cheap but also there radios that can work out cheaper just to listen.

490mhz has a mixture of everything if you have time to search

Would anyone by chance have software for the gm338 by any chance particularly version r05.05.04 i have tried all others i have found online buy no luck with programming it keep gettin check if its connected etc using a comport on an ex but no luck

Have many people tried there scanners out in the regional areas of WA have much success

Theres no point going digital just yet only wapol an sja are really digital if you look through the link posted have a look at a frequency in your area an find ones with 10K1F3E, 16K0F3E or any with F3E at the end plug them in and see what happenes

Are you able to change between WFM To NFM thats if it is on wfm
