Thoughts for discussion
Perth Domestic Airport, Virgin T1. In the last week I have been to the airport twice, once to pick up someone and the second time to drop off someone. The first time last Sunday, I noticed that once I had walked into the building T1, that my scanner died. Couldn't receive anything, when I walked out...

Or you do all your shopping at Woolworths, so you only use Woolworths Caltex so you can save 4 cpl. Well guess what, all your petrol is the same, it all comes from the same t...

Re: wireless microphones
Call me silly.
tried to enter the frequency for the wireless microphone (614.200Mhz), and now have learnt why I can't receive it. It's our of the frequency band for the scanner. I guess asking silly questions and attempting to operate technical equipment when one is 8/10th's asleep

Re: using UHF CB for business
Thanks guys, appreciate the feed back. I don't know who set the radios up, but I'll have a chat with my boss on the next shift. I know that the freq's I've listed above are the ones for our centre, but don't know if they will be the same for the other three centres. If they are not linked then i wil...

using UHF CB for business
From reading the reg's, I believe that the business I am working for can use the uhf CB frequencies (476.4125 – 477.4125 MHz), but cannot claim any exclusivity or "ownership" of the channel we are on. To prevent our radios from hearing other users we have set the tone mode for Tx/Rx to DTC...
