Turned out to bushfire near Albany highway and Jarradale road . Was contained quickly

We were coming back from a hazard reduction burn when we heard this , Single male with facial burns and difficulty breathing . I heard the first call about 1300

Expect more 3 pump turnouts for confirmed structure fires . We got told the other night its one of the new commish's new rules . Minimum of 3 pumps per confirmed structure . Gonna get busy real soon for a lot of stations

Ours is a lot nicer then the last POS we had , Only issue we have is that it wont start the pump from the cabin first up. Have to start it from outside until it warms up the the inside switches work

Wow , 500 of lay flat . Good work by you guys and Gals to get that under control as quick as you did under very trying conditions from the sounds of it.

I work as a vollie at the motorplex for speedway meetings so can tell you that the crash crews here are made up from vollies from various BFB's and a couple of VFRS brigades. The same guys are also involved in the drag meetings as well .
