Re: FESA frequencies
The frequency is for Surf Lifesaving WA, not WAERN and looking at the emission type is probably DMR.

Re: Recommendations for a MW and SW receiver?
Hi Joskek, If your budget can stretch to $129.00, the AR1780 from Jaycar gets good reports. The main difference is it can also receive SSB transmissions in addition to AM mode. https://www.jaycar.com.au/compact-world-band-radio-with-ssb/p/AR1780 If you search AR1780 on YouTube, you will find some cr...

To strengthen mine up, I put a broomstick up inside the base (packed it out with insulation tape wound around the broomstick) and also put insulation tape over the section tapers. It never slipped down, but when it came time to move it, the b...

Hi Blinky,
I use the Plane Finder app on my I-Phone and find it great. It's handy to know what is flying overhead!
Cheers.

Re: Listening to Amateur Radio using Sangean ATS-909

I couldn't quite catch the call sign if of the other guy but I heard that one of them was VK6ATI. 8) I was also listening to the conversation - The other station was in Rockingham and Manjimup also j...
