Isn't CLP1 (the old S3 Scania) the stand by machine for the aerial fleet? leaving CLP2 at Fremantle and CLP3 in Perth as the primary machines. Maybe CLP2 is in for a 'D' level service?

Armadale 3rd will be the spare 'summer' light tanker based out of Armadale, used for driver training with the CFRS and burning off with the VFRS but is manned by the VFRS for jobs - and they do a bloody good job out that way too! Good on ya buddah and the lads.

I can remember the days when the GPA first came to the metro area and the perm's said that they would never operate them as they were a 'volley trolley'. I can even remember when Success first came on-line, they had a GPA as a stand by for a while before getting a Scania too and did they complain! I...

I think that would be correct as the ATC out of Melbourne and Brisbane cover 90% of Australia's airspace.
