Went to a communication place Wednesday to ask them a couple of questions. Basically he said to get high gain I would have to get an adapter for the hand...

Icom IC-41S UHF C.R.S. Transceiver Handheld

I purchased one of these on Monday mainly for work reasons.
Is it a good one and what sort of accessories can I buy to make it better (if that is possible).

That video is gold with her howling like a wolf........and to think all she had to do was to acknowledge that she was speeding and that her windshield was cracked and show her license and be done with it lol.

Heading down to bunbury this weekend

I'm heading down to Bunbury this weekend. Is there anything I can listen to on the scanner down there. I did read on this forum somewhere that the police operations are done mainly by mobile phone. Can someone confirm or deny this?

Priority 2 Status

I hear quite frequently when going to a priority 2 job that the driver states the class of vehicle, priority status of the driver and the pd number.

Can anyone tell me why?
