i'm pretty sure most country areas you will be able to listen to.margaret river, busselton,augusta and dunsborgh no worries

country area will not be going digital for a fair while due to the cost of upgrading the equipment to ditigal is very costly.they have beening testing in bunbury.i have pick them up on the new digital freqs 502 - 504 mhz range.its been unencrypted.

i have foxtel and have try it
With card works fine
without card no picture said to install smart card but still get sound

was it at the shell service station

I own a UBCD996T and love it

Yeah it happened about 2.00pm yesterday.Very serious ta.3 cars involved.
3 people trapped in cars.Highway was block for about 3 hours.Chopper was call down.Major crash team also turned up about 2 hours later.
Busselton , dunsurbough and margaret river police involved.

agree great scanner.had mine for a week now.

update.
Polair still searching and the channel 7 chopper is here aswell.Just heard polair say they will be up till dark and then returning to busselton airport for the night.

:D Got my new Uniden 996T yesterday.Great Unit.Haven't had much time with it yet but so far i found it picks up much more freqs i have program in to it.What i mean is that i can pick up freqs farther away then when i had my 796D.Also the sound is much clearer aswell.The Programing software is much b...
