Transit Officers pretty much work all their shifts in the afternoons/evenings when the trouble happens

I think you would find these cars will do duties like APLO's, community policing etc. where high powered cars are not needed, not all frontline tasking...............................

well no one will ever get convicted if members of the public are to scared to stand up to them, people will get away with everything if the public dont grow some balls and stand up to the thugs

i was in the SES for awhile, to many people on a power trip, thinking they are the shit, what pissed me off big time, as a volunteer im not putting up with that crap, so i left

why would members of the public put themselfs at massive risk and play emergency worker, the fact is you have no power what so ever to direct traffic and to display lights, and people have not legallity to follow what you do, its hard enough for coppers to do points other than not trained members of...

transit guards have undergone abit of change they are now called transit officers and now wear WA Police style uniforms with cargos and a different shade of shirt with velcro patches and now carry OC spray
