Not sure I understand the need for the DPC markings...

Different colours denote different roles in public order management, you'll note white and red also used in other photos and no doubt there was light blue and green on others.

Image 5, TasPol SOG to the right front of the SAPol Bearcat. Good to see inter-State co-operation for such a major event.

PolAir's 1 through to four (5 being the exception) have eight blue and four red LEDs on the undercarriage which are used during high visbility patrols and other times when they want to be seen.
