Someone correct me if Im wrong, but isn't that the same NSW POLAIR 1 that was in a previous topic. Taken over in NSW. It was being used for a search of some sort. Good coincedence if it is. The little helo (Squirrel??) in the second pic is NSW. The Dauphin? helo in the top pic looks very much like the VicPol helos except I'm certain they don't have the red and white band. Different colours denote different roles in public order management, you'll note white and red also used in other photos and no doubt there was light blue and green on others.muzza333 wrote:What are the yellow arm bands for?

PolAir's 1 through to four (5 being the exception) have eight blue and four red LEDs on the undercarriage which are used during high visbility patrols and other times when they want to be seen.
