Is there any set protocol for Dispatch Officers, here in Gero we seem to have Snr Officer's on duty friday and saturday nights but what about the other shifts, does the officer have to be a certain rank or have experience before they are put in front of the two-way.

Saw a duck get skittled on the Mitchell Freeway near Lake Herdsman. It had some ducklings following it. When the duck was hit, the little ones were just running madly in circles.

That image has never left me!
