Re: General fire discussions

Re: Scania / Metz ladder

Just a thought but are CLP1 and TTL03 almost at retirement age and if they are to be replaced soon what bronto skylift model will the FRS replace them with?

Also would the FRS ever buy Aerial Pumpers as these are also currently in use along the east coast.

I used to drive and operate that when I worked at Channel 9. The guy who is the techy now is a bloke I used to go to school with (he's a couple of years older than me). Used to have a ball, doing live crosses from kings park, at the perth magistrates court, from the clubrooms of Freo and West coast...

Classified as Fourth Alarm, but comm centre though Daglish said Fifth, so Perth 1st stood down, CLP should be mobile soon and ICV is mobile What was the reason it took so long for the CLP to get to Wembley. Its not that far from Perth. like 8km away. did any of the Perth HPs to link up with the CLP...

Did they just call that one in as "fourth alarm" or "false alarm". I thought they then asked for aerial unit, but stood down some ground based appliances. From what i could see from the aeial footage on Ten news CLP1 did turn out but was not in use as it was parked on the other ...

another few questions.

-Are FESA still building new MPs?

-Also that 1.4 trial whats the buisness behind that. Its sounds like FESA is developing that is very good and a possible replacement for LTs and single cab GPAs and for brigades wanting something between an LT and 2.4 or medium tanker.
