At the end of the day we need 1000 more Police Statewide. We need more Cops everywhere. At the current rate WAPOL is going to be under resourced until 2010. Until the staffing issues are sorted their will always be senior staff with their noses turned up. It would be the same as if the traffic guys ...

I can just see it now.. A shithead running down the road spread sheet and scanner in hand thinking to himself UQ301 HOLY CRAP thats a holden commodore with GD light bar and a secure pod..

I spose it would depend on the hours worked of the engines etc?

It may be that they are offset to keep cost down? IE: One engine has done 3000 hrs the other has done 2000 hours..

Yes to my knowledge the trial has started. However only in the Midland area.

One engine has gone to the US for over haul and testing. Approx turn around 6 weeks thats all i know
