but in my 7 yrs of experiance i have never ever herd of a SES vehicle being required for a emergency response that even warrants the use of thier lights. I know SES have used lights a handful of times. Not sirens though. The lights are useful when you need to get through traffic to get to debris on...

It works by redirecting say, blah.no-ip.com:80 -> blah.no-ip.com:8300 or whatever.

Mostly used for instances where the ISP blocks port 80 to prevent webhosting.

I am happy to be proved wrong, especially if it will get me to the scanner.

Thanks, but that won't work, since it would need to be hosted on my own computer for me to do that.

I tried using icecast to re-stream the existing online scanner to a different port, but I just couldn't work it out.
